History

The Asian Telecom and Information Exchange (ATIE) Forum, changed name from Asian Telecom Industry Exchange from 2001, has been successfully held in the Asian countries annually since 1995. Each member association takes turns to hold the forum in its country.

Objectives

The major objective of the ATIE Forum is to exchange ideas and experiences of ICT field among participating associations in the Asian region. The forum also aims to promote further development of the telecommunications and information industries through mutual cooperation and to address issues like the liberalization of the industry, the emergence of wireless and multi-media communication amongst others.
