During the year, the Asssociation has righteously promised our slogan of the year "Foster International Connection, Embrace WTO Opportunities".  We have arranged series of activities for our members to build up business networking with China parties right before its entry into WTO.

Again, taking the opportunity that two groups of top senior officials from various departments under MII and heads of Communications Administration of different provinces were attending seminars in Hong Kong as conducted by OFTA, ITAHK was honored to host the reception for them in the hope that more mutual networking could build up with HK players.

It's really a rare rare occasion to to meet with such a large group of senior officials from China in Hong Kong.  Special thanks must go to our member, China Mobile (HK) Ltd., who is also the trip coordinator for the delegates in Hong Kong, to let ITAHK to receive the delegation.

The first dinner reception on July 30, 2001 has attracted over hundred of our member participants.  We hope that more of the same kind of activities will be organized in future.
