Northbound expansion will surely be the strategic commitment for most of telecommunications players in the years ahead viewing the fact that China has entered into WTO.

It is of vital importance to anticipate the current and foreseeable PRC law development, in particular those areas that surrounding investments, mergers and acquisitions and other facets that may be of interest to telecom operators when considering northbound undertaking.

In this connection, it is our pleasure inviting Mr. Robert Lewis, a profession in the area giving a speech on "New Opportunities in the Telecom and IT Sectors Post-WTO" covering wide spectrum of PRC law issues especially on value-added telecom and IT opportunities in China.  The luncheon was held on April 30, 2002 at the Regal Hong Kong Hotel.  It has attracted quite a lot of our members to attend.
