Annual General Meeting
The 23rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Internet & Telecom Association of Hong Kong and Networking Dinner was successfully held on 9th June 2006 (Friday) at Regal Hong Kong Hotel.
During the meeting, Mr. Tony Hau, Chairman of ITAHK, and Mr. Franky Lai, Honorary Treasurer, presented the Chairman Report and the Treasury Report respectively for the financial year 2005-2006. Both reports are now available for downloading below.
Also, the result of the election of Executive Committee 2006-2008 was announced. To strengthen the support to the Association and beneficial to our members, our new Chairman, Mr. Hubert Chan, announced that 3 additional Functional Groups have been formed [Executive Committee 2006-2008].
Before the dinner, Mr. Joseph Tsui, Honorary Advisor of
ITAHK, shared with us on the project of The Book - Pride & Achievement - A
History of Hong Kong's Telecommunications Industry [Presentation
Slides]. Also, during the dinner, we have the honor to invite Mr. Alan
Wong, Deputy Executive Director of Hong Kong Trade Development Council, to share
with us on the topic "Promoting Hong Kong's Service Sectors" [Presentation
Slides].
