Criteria for Membership

| Full Member |
Any persons or corporate bodies
fulfilling the following entrance requirements:
- engaged in the provision or manufacturing
of internet and telecommunication products
and/or related services;
- limited company registered in Hong Kong;
- application should be nominated by two
existing full members
Only one person from each organization
will be eligible for Full Membership |

Company / Individual Member |
Associate members are either
persons, firms, companies, organizations,
societies or associations:
- engaged or having an interest in any
aspect of the communications industry
or in the promotion or development of
such industry
Individual membership belongs to the applicant
only and cannot be transferred to others

| Honorary
Member / Honorary Advisor |
Individuals who either have:
- reputation or influential power in
the internet and telecommunications field
or the community; or
- well recognized internet and telecommunications
knowledge; or
- contributions towards the Association;
and
- the appointment of Honorary Member should
be upon the recommendation and approval
of the Executive Committee

| Student
Member |
|
CAHK aims to assist the university graduates
to dynamic career in the ICT industry. Volunteer
training programme for all activities of
CAHK will be offered. The endorsement from
the Association will be issued to member
upon his/her completion of the programme.
- Student members shall be persons who
is over sixteen years of age at the time
of membership application
- Post-secondary students and recent graduates
from science, technology and engineering
faculties in Hong Kong
- Or students from other faculties who
is interested to serve in the ICT industry
Individual membership belongs to the
applicant only and cannot be transferred
to others

- obliged to pay the entrance fee and
the annual subscription fee
- have voting right and can be elected
as member of the Executive Committee
- undertake to pursue the objectives of
the Association

fee
- have no voting right and cannot be elected
as member of the Executive Committee
- undertake to pursue the objectives of
the Association

| Honorary
Member / Honorary Advisor |
- not obliged to pay the entrance fee
and the annual subscription fee
- have no voting right and cannot be elected
as member of the Executive Committee

Member |
- obliged to pay the annual subscription
fee
- to fulfill 20 hours per annum under
the volunteer training programme by CAHK
- have no voting right and cannot be elected
as member of the Executive Committee
- undertake to pursue the objectives of
the Association
