4-Panel Comic Drawing Competition

Rules

• The artwork can be drawn by either hand or any digital media, in either black and white or colour, but must be presented in the format of 4-panel comic.
• The artwork must be an original work by the contestant and must not violate or infringe on the rights of any third party.
• Hand-drawn artwork must be fit in A3 size paper, there is no specification as to the medium used, e.g. colour pencil, water colour, etc.
• If the artwork is produced digitally, the output of the image should be with 350 dpi, fit in 29.7 cm x 42 cm (A3 size) , please print out hardcopy and burn in a CD/DVD in either jpg or gif format to The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups Buildings, 21 Pak Fuk Road, North Point, Hong Kong.
• Contestants should complete the entry form and return it with the artworks (actual and digital media in CD/DVD) to "Youth S.P.O.T. Support and Membership Unit, 20/F, The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups Building, 21 Pak Fuk Road, North Point, Hong Kong." on or before 6 April 2009 (postmarked). Please mark "4-panel Comic Drawing Competition – Secondary/Tertiary Group" on the envelope.
• Each contestant can submit an unlimited number of entries.
• Winner will be announced on 8 May 2009.
• The Organizer shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, or delay to the artworks during delivery.
• Entries will not be returned to contestants.
• The Organizer retains the right for printing, publishing and exhibiting the entries.
• The Organizer reserves the final right to interpret the rules.

四格漫畫創作比賽

比賽規則

• 參賽作品可為手繪或電腦繪圖、黑白或彩色，唯必須以四格漫畫格式呈現。
• 參賽作品必須為參賽者原創，並無侵犯他人之版權。
• 手繪圖作品須繪於A3大小的畫紙上，繪畫工具不限，包括木顏色、水彩等。
• 電腦繪圖作品的原始製作檔案之格式為350dpi或以上，完稿尺寸須為29.7 厘米x 42 厘米(A3)，作品格式須為jpg或gif，並須打印於A3大小的畫紙上連同燒錄光碟遞交。
• 參加者須下載及填妥參加表格，連同參賽作品於2009年4月6日或以前(以郵戳日期為準)寄回「香港北角百福道21號香港青年協會大廈20樓青年空間支援及會籍發展組」。信封面請註明「四格漫畫創作比賽 – 中學組/大專組」。
• 每名參賽者所遞交的參賽數量不限。
• 得獎作品將會在5月8日公佈。
• 主辦機構不會為參賽作品遺失、損毀、轉遞錯誤及延誤而負責。
• 所有參賽作品概不發還。
• 主辦機構有權將作品發表、刊登及作展覽用途。
• 主辦機構保留解釋比賽規則的權利。
