Creating Mobile Applications for Smart Phones Competition
Introduction
In 2010, Communications Association of Hong Kong (CAHK) and the Pui Ching Academy (PCA) designed training programs and competitions for the youth on mobile phone software application to stimulate their creativities in software design on different mobile operating systems as well as to affirm their software application knowledge to the mobile devices.
In this competition, contestants are required to design and/or develop a mobile application for smart phones. The competition aims at:
Category and Target
Secondary Group
Contestants are encouraged to write a proposal on the design of an application based on the specification of a specific smart phone of their choice. This category is open to any secondary students in Hong Kong SAR.
Tertiary Group
In this category, contestants will need to submit their design and developed prototype of widget application for Nokia smart phones. This category is only open to any post-secondary students in Hong Kong SAR..

創意智能手機軟件製作大賽
主旨
為激發青少年對手機軟件的創意，本年度香港通信業聯會（CAHK）和培正專業書院（PCA）合辦了智能手機軟件製作大賽。透過創新地設計不同手機操作系統的軟件，青少年可以加強他們在手機軟件應用知識，同時亦提升個人創意。
在這次比賽中，參賽者須設計和/或開發智能手機的應用程式。該比賽旨在：
參加組別及對象
這項比賽分為兩大類：
中學組
參賽者須自選一款智能手機，提交一份創意應用軟件計劃書。這個類別只開放給任何本地中四至中六學生。
大專組
在這一類別中，參賽者需提交應用程式的設計和開發應用原型部件 (prototype) ，Widget 應用程式須根據諾基亞智能手機而設計及開發。這個類別只開放給任何本地大專學生。
