Geocaching Competition
Introduction
Combined both discovery and learning, Geocaching Competition is a treasury hunt letting students apply GPS technologies by entertaining adventure games to enhance their problem solving skills as well as enrich the knowledge of ICT industry.

Competition Preparation
A. Competition Rule
- All 4 players of the team need to use their own mobile phone to download WTISD 2019 mobile App either in App Store or Google Play in advance.
- All 4 players of the team need to complete the assigned tasks within the WTISD 2019 mobile App at the same time.
- Each group must appoint a team member’s mobile to record the final time result of all tasks.
B. Mobile Spec:
- WTISD 2019 App is only available for IOS 11 or above & Android 6.0 or above

All students of Geocaching Competition will be invited to the Prize Presentation Ceremony held on the same day. Champion, First Runner-Up and Second Runner-Up will be awarded during the Ceremony.Bad Weather Arrangement:
For the competition has not yet started
- If the Typhoon Warning Signal No. 3 or above, or the Red Rainstorm Warning is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory within two hours (i.e. 6:30am) before the commencement of the briefing session, the competition will be cancelled.
For the competition has already started
- When Typhoon Warning Signal No. 1 or 3 or the Amber Rainstorm Warning is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory, the competition should be held as scheduled.
- When Typhoon Warning Signal 8 or the Red/Black Rainstorm Warning is in force, the competition will be cancelled immediately. Students should return home or take shelter in a safe place without delay.
For the return of competition materials
- All competition materials, including octopus cards, should be passed to teacher-in-charge for custody purpose. SCMP staff will arrange collection of the competition materials with teacher-in-charge in the following week.
